Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Think about if you want your party to be formal or informal. Before you can choose a location you must know what type of party you want to have.
Step2
Decide how much money you want to spend on the First Communion party. Parties do not have to be expensive to be fun, but a large brunch at a Country Club will cost a lot more than a barbeque in your backyard.
Step3
Pick a time for the party. You will need a different location for a brunch immediately after church than you will for a party that lasts all afternoon.
Step4
Figure out how many people you want to invite. The location needs to be big enough to hold a large gathering or cozy enough for a small family affair.
Step5
Research available sites based on your answers to above questions. Once you have these questions answered you can look and see what your town has that can meet your needs.
Step6
Talk to your child about the party plans. Remember it is his party. Let him give as much input as you can within reason.
Step7
Call and make reservations if you need them. You are not the only one having a First Communion party that day.
