Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Step1
Research sedans you think you may be interested in. As simple as that sounds, this is where the biggest step takes place. Knowing the different styles and features will help you choose a sedan. Some vehicles have more room in the back for instance, which may be useful if you have children.
Step2
Decide on what kind of Sedan you would like. There are different sedan styles to choose from and some may suit your needs better than others. Good angles to look at are price, fuel economy, safety, luxury features, interior space, luggage capacity and operating costs.
Step3
Talk to an expert that’s not trying to sell you a sedan. I find that mechanics are great when it comes to knowledge about cars, and they are usually willing to tell you what problems they see in a particular car, or certain special features the sedan has that makes it special. Forums are another great way to learn about the sedan you have in mind.
Step4
Go shopping for your sedan. You can go to a car dealership, or you can buy from an owner. If you buy from a car dealership, you can choose to buy the sedan new or used, but check the warranty first.
