The dictionary defines love in many ways. Merriam-Webster dictionary defines love as a "strong affection for another." Most people know what love is, but how to show love is a different issue altogether. Here are a few suggestions of how to tell Dad he's loved on Father's Day.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Tell Dad he's loved with your mouth. Say those three little words when you first see him on Father's Day.

  2. Step 2

Tell Dad he's loved in a Father's Day card. The card can be funny or serious, but make sure you add the three magic words.

  3. Step 3

Some dads need love in another way. How does Dad show you love? Show love right back at him the same way.

  4. Step 4

Tell Dad he's loved with a special day. Plan Dad's favorite activity. Bring along his favorite meal and tell him he is loved with actions.

  5. Step 5

Tell Dad he's loved over the radio. I have often heard radio dedications and wondered how the loved one is on the radio at the exact time that you make the dedication. How exciting it would be to hear your name broadcast for all to hear. It would be a true statement of love.

  6. Step 6

Tell Dad he's loved by posting signs along a preplanned trip route. Then take Dad on a little drive to see the signs leading to the final destination. Plan a picnic at the end or just a few balloons with an "I Love You" sign.

  7. Step 7

All the experts say that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Dad's heart should be no different. Send Dad a mail order lobster or steak.

  8. Step 8

Tell Dad he is loved in the same way you always tell him he's loved and jazz it up.
