Dear old dad deserves a special treat on his big day. Make Father’s Day special by planning a brunch in his honor. This is a time to show our fathers how much we love and appreciate them, so make this holiday all about him!

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Determine the father's favorite breakfast foods.

  2. Step 2

    Create a menu of brunch/breakfast items incorporating his favorites.

  3. Step 3

    Give the honoree something when he wakes up to let him know that this day is special. For example, bring him coffee and the paper in bed.

  4. Step 4

    Allow dad to spend time relaxing while the food is prepared. Don’t let him help.

  5. Step 5

    Gather the family for brunch. You may want to say a few words about Father’s Day to start the meal, such as a toast or prayer.

  6. Step 6

    Present dad with thoughtful gifts and cards.

  7. Step 7

    Participate in an activity that both dad and the family enjoy after eating.

  • If cooking is not your specialty, go out to a restaurant offering a special Father’s Day Brunch. Call ahead for reservations.
