Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Cell phone
- Manual or customer service number
- Computer
- Internet
- Money
Step1
Check your phone to make sure it can download ringtones from the Internet. Many phones are capable of doing this, but not all are. Your manual should tell you if you can, or call your customer service number and ask them.
Step2
Search online for different sites that offer ringtones. If you have a company that you are registered with and have bought from before, try to use them. Some sites will try to cheat you or overcharge you for future tones that may be sent to your phone.
Step3
Read all the fine print. They may be cheap for the first one or even the first 10, but many sites will make you buy more for a certain period of time. Others will automatically keep sending you tones until you actually cancel.
Step4
Pick your Shakira song once you find the site you are going to buy from. Shakira has many songs in both Spanish and English. Pick one that best describes you. You can also assign this ringtone to specific callers.
Step5
Listen and preview the ringtone before you actually buy it. Make sure it is not some knockoff or a different song completely. Listen for clarity, also.
Step6
Download your ringtone once you have picked it and previewed it. Your cell phone should let you know when it is downloaded. Listen to it right away to make sure it is what you want with the right ringtone. If not, contact the company immediately and have them correct it or refund your money.
