How to Increase Telemarketing Sales

2. Generate interest in your product. Speak about how the product will benefit them or fulfill a need that they have.

3. Provide a detailed description of your product, but do not get overly technical. Keep things simple and give descriptions that will help them visualize using the product.

4. Personalize your pitch. Use their name throughout the conversation and do not stick to a strict set of questions. Base your follow-up queries on their answers to your open-ended questions.

5. Offer the most expensive services first. If the customer rejects this, you can work your way down to the lower cost options.

6. End the phone call with a commitment. It can be a promise of a follow-up call or the decision to order the product or service. If they ask for a call back, request a specific time and date that you can get in touch with them.
