How to Attend the Tyler, Texas Rose Festival

A tradition since 1933, The Texas Rose Festival in Tyler, Texas, is an exciting and elegant weekend of events that celebrate the roses grown in the area. The festival is in October and is centered around the Tyler Rose Gardens on Erwin Street. Attending the Texas Rose festival is an experience you will not soon forget.

      Order tickets for the Queen's Coronation and the Queen's Tea. Seating is limited for these events. Tickets can be ordered on the Rose Festival website.

      Tour the Rose Museum. Located in the Rose Gardens, the museum displays the one-of-a-kind dresses made every year for the queen and her court.

      Watch the Rose parade. The Rose parade is always on Saturday morning during the festival. The parade starts on Fifth Street and travels down Erwin Street and ends in Rose Stadium. Watching the parade on the street is free, but a fee is charged to sit inside the Rose Stadium.
