1. Pick a time of day appropriate for your little one focused on when he is at his happiest. The lunchtime hour works for most. Set a start time and an end time for the party so that you can get your little one down for his second nap.
2. Decide on a location that your child will be comfortable with. Avoid using new surroundings on this special day; he or she may not react well.

Chicken tenders, fruit and veggie tray, mini hotdogs or mini hamburgers are some simple ideas everyone should enjoy.
