How to Say the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be

Even as a little child the "Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be" prayers can be said with ease and conviction. They are the basic prayers of the Holy Rosary, honoring God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit and Mary the Mother of God.

Instructions

1. Meditate on these words that Jesus gave us, the perfect prayer: "Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen."

2. Pray to Mary, the Immaculate Mother of Jesus to ask for her intercession on our behalf. She has said that her son will refuse her nothing that she asks of Him. "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen."

3. Give glory and thanks to the three persons of the Holy Trinity by honoring them with the following prayer: 'Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. Amen."

4. End each prayer with "Amen". This means, "I believe."
