Receiving the sacrament of Holy Communion in the Catholic Church is an act that requires knowledge and reverence and allows you to receive many graces in your spiritual life. For baptized children, First Communion classes are taught during the first and second grades. Adults must go through the Right for Initiation for Catholic Adults (RCIA) classes and receive their first Holy Communion at the Easter Vigil in the spring. Here's how to receive Communion.

on 5/12/2008 Garbage! "most reverent"??? According to YOU...?
The most difficult thing about reception is that we should, but are not obliged, to confess any serious sins before receiving, or right after if we could not before. This all seems quite legalistic - quote Canon Law if you want that.
