Things You'll Need:
- Ribbon
- Paper tags
- Plastic gift bags
- Photo paper
-
Step 1
Make it personal by ordering candy with the Sweet Sixteen's name and birthdate printed on it. Candy makers such as M&Ms and others will allow you to personalize their treats for your party--you can pick the color, the flavor and even print a short message on these classic confections (see Resources below).
-
Step 2
Use your party's theme to help you select party favors. For a movie themed event, give each guest a small bag of popcorn printed with a thank you message or the Sweet Sixteen's birthday details.
-
Step 3
Make your party favors work harder when you give small silver frames as gifts. These favors work overtime as name card holders, letting your guests know where they should sit at your big event.
-
Step 4
Keep it simple and pick up some small plastic gift bags at your local party store. Fill them with your favorite candy and tie them off with a ribbon that coordinates with your party's color scheme. You can even print a brief message on a paper tag to attach to each, letting your guests know how much their presence was appreciated.
-
Step 5
Do something good for the world and make a small donation on behalf of each of your guests. Many non-profit organization such as the National MS Society allow donors to give as little as $1 per guest and will furnish you with decorative thank you place cards, letting your guests know that this donation has been made on their behalf (see Resources below).
-
Step 6
Make a small card or book of special photos for each guest. You can easily format a collection of digital photos on your computer and print them on quality photo paper. Cut them down to a uniform size and bind them with ribbon or grommets to make a party favor that will be treasured.

Here is a product packaged in the us that made my kids sweet 16 party a huge success. Its called the TickleMe Plant Party favor. In it you can grow a REAL Plant that MOVES when you Tickle It! The leaves instantly fold and even the branches droop when Tickled! You have to see the video and grow your own to believe this is real. I found it at http://www.ticklemeplant.com
