Get a head count of the number of people who will be attending your Tupperware party so you can plan a menu accordingly. For small groups, simple snacks and appetizers will suffice. However, if you're expecting a large group of people, then you may want to consider putting together a buffet-style menu.

Spice up your Tupperware party by taking the season into account. If your party is going to be held during the summer months, then a backyard barbecue or picnic menu would be just the thing. Just be sure to have a backup plan in place in case of inclement weather.

Coordinate your Tupperware party with a holiday, such as Mother's Day or Valentine's Day. You don't have to plan to host your party on the actual holiday, but if it falls in the same month, then let that be your theme and a guide to plan your menu. For instance, hold your party in May in honor of Mother's Day and serve a simple brunch. Or, for Valentine's Day, you could invite couples and include chocolate treats on the menu.

Host a Tupperware party on-the-spot during a scheduled break at work. Just bring in some snacks and a few Tupperware catalogs to pass around the break room.

Give the moms with young children in your life a chance to rediscover their own inner child. Invite them to a Mommy and Me Tupperware party that lets the kids be part of the action. Goofy games and silly snacks (served from Tupperware, of course) can rule the day.

Tips & Warnings

  • Offer meatless alternatives on your party menu to accommodate your vegetarian friends. Also, be sure to account for special dietary needs, such as food allergies (warn about the presence of peanuts, for example), or a condition such as diabetes (keep fruit juice on hand).

  • Make sure children, if attending, are supervised at all times.

Ask your Tupperware consultant to fit the food you will serve around the Tupperware demonstration. You really don't need to put much effort into planning a large spread for your friends. That might actually disctract from the purpose of the party - to share some valuable money saving infomation, learn a new recipe and enjoy your friends. Fun, Food and Friends... it just doesn't get any better than that! Remember, you're supposed to relax and enjoy the event too. Let the Tupperware consultant help you with a fun, simple menu (seasonal themes are lots of fun) for your party.
