Everybody loves to take something home with them when they leave a party. Select party favors for a stock-the-bar party that fit the theme of the night.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

Select Stock the Bar Party Favors

  1. Step 1

Give guests something small that will help stock their bar. Glass rimmers, coasters and corkscrews are inexpensive and easy to drop in a gift bag.

  2. Step 2

Choose gifts that both men and women will enjoy. Since it is stock the bar party, you are pretty safe if you stick to the liquor and bar theme for party favors.

  3. Step 3

Consider having party favors custom printed to match the event. Bottle openers or mint boxes can be ordered from most screen printers for a minimal charge.

  4. Step 4

Select party favors that match the theme, if you have one. Depending on your theme, you can offer anything from keychains to candy.

  5. Step 5

Mix and match a few inexpensive party favors to fill a gift bag. Several small gifts often make the guests feel like they are walking away with more than if they only received one extravagant gift.

  6. Step 6

Hand out a few nips, those small liquor bottles you find on airplanes. You can easily customize each bottle. For instance, if it is a couple's housewarming, print photos of the couple on regular mailing labels to create custom bottles.

  7. Step 7

Create a unique party favor by taking guests photos as they arrive and printing them out with a themed border. Use 5 x 7-inch photo paper to create memorable pictures for everyone to take home.

  8. Step 8

Remember to choose something that people will actually use. You'll only waste your money if you send people home with a bunch of useless party favors.

Tips & Warnings
  • Instead of paying for customized party favors, simply add a personal touch to the outside of the gift. Attach a small card to each party favor with a ribbon.
  • Put the gift bags or party favors together a few days before the event, and always make extras for unexpected guests.
  • Keep the party favors hidden until people start leaving. You don't want guests grabbing several throughout the night. Put a basket full of the party favors by the door.
  • Avoid party favors that make noise. Inevitably, a few people will get their hands on the noisemakers early in the night, and the rest of your party will be obnoxiously noisy.
