Things You'll Need:
- Comfortable shoes
- Clothes
-
Step 1
Be comfortable in whatever you decide to wear. Rave parties go on all night, so you don't want to have shoes cutting into your ankles and straps that keep falling off our shoulders.
-
Step 2
Ask your friends what they are wearing. This is a good way to judge how your should dress for the night.
-
Step 3
Wear shoes you can dance in. If you can't dance in heels, leave them at home. Even comfortable shoes can be hard to move in.
-
Step 4
Think about the venue when you get dressed for the evening. An outdoor party will mean dirt and mud, so it's probably a good idea to leave your designer clothes at home.
-
Step 5
Considering wearing loose clothes so you can move around and dance easier. They will also be more comfortable in the morning on your ride home.
-
Step 6
Try to wear something that will work at breakfast the next morning in case you decide to grab a bite to eat with friends. You want to be just as comfortable with your clothes after the rave as you are while you are at it.
-
Step 7
Gauge how you should dress by the size of the rave. If the party is at a local club, then most people will be dressed very casually. On the other hand, if the party is a huge event with several DJs and a high price tag, you'll find many more people in outrageous clothes.
-
Step 1
Wear something fun and crazy. At a rave, you really can get away with wearing just about anything. This is your chance to wear the crazy shoes or that funky dress you found at the thrift store.
-
Step 2
Throw some glitter on. Glitter looks great under the lights, and even men can get away with a bit of it on their face.
-
Step 3
Feel free to make your own clothes. A rave is a great place to show off your DIY t-shirts and dyed jeans.
