Music sets the mood for any party and lingerie parties are no exception. While not an absolute requirement for your party, properly selected music can create a relaxed, flirty atmosphere and enhance the fun. To make your lingerie party the best it can be, learn how to create a playlist for it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Selection of CDs
  • Subscription to iTunes or other online music download store

Create a Playlist for Your Lingerie Party

  1. Step 1

Search through your own CDs. Look for songs that fit the theme or mood you are trying to create for your party. If you want a relaxed and sensual party, choose songs with that kind of feeling. If you want energetic or silly, then find songs that will promote that atmosphere.

  2. Step 2

Pick songs that your guest of honor will like. This applies if you are throwing a lingerie party for a bride-to-be. If this is the case, it is just good manners to put some of her favorite songs in the playlist.

  3. Step 3

Check your MP3 player or iPod for more songs to include on the playlist.

  4. Step 4

Import the songs you selected from your CDs onto iTunes or into your MP3 player.

  5. Step 5

Create a new playlist on iTunes or your MP3 player. Give the new playlist a title that indicates it is for your lingerie party.

  6. Step 6

Transfer your imported songs into the new playlist. Also transfer any songs you want to use that were already in your MP3 player or iPod into the new playlist.

  7. Step 7

Search the iTunes website or the online music store of your choice for more songs for the lingerie party (see Resources below). Purchase the songs you want and transfer them into your party playlist.

  8. Step 8

Make sure you include a few all-time girl favorites in your playlist. These are songs that nearly every woman will get up and dance to or sing along with. "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper, "Paradise By the Dashboard Lights" by Meatloaf and almost anything by The Go-Gos are good candidates for your lingerie party playlist.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't use any file sharing websites to download music for your playlist. You may think you are saving yourself money by getting songs for free but you are also engaging in an illegal activity. In fact, downloading even one song from a file sharing website can be enough to get you sued by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). Do the right thing by purchasing any music you download from the Internet.
