1. Decide on a budget in advance and stick to it. A lingerie party is an informal evening of fun, not a five course fancy dinner. You want to have good, crowd-pleasing food without going broke. Your food budget will depend on how many people you expect to attend, so wait until you've gotten RSVPs from everyone you invited before setting a budget for your menu.
2. Let the personalities of your guests help you determine your menu. Are most of your guests laid-back jeans and t-shirt kinds of girls? If so, a selection of chips, dip and buffalo wings might work just fine. 7. Plan to have chocolate on hand! A lingerie party is for women, after all, and there are few things women love more than chocolate. Keep a few bowls of the chocolate of your choice on your refreshment table. Your guests are sure to keep coming back for more.

• Find out in advance if any of your guests have special dietary requirements. Your vegetarian friend is going to feel pretty left out if everything on your menu has meat in it. Your co-worker who is allergic to peanuts will not have a great time if you serve crustless peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
