Play Roulette Online on a Mac

  1. Step 1

Start by selecting a Mac compatible online casino like Vegas Click (see Resources below). Most of the major sites have a Mac user section and there are entire Mac casinos now online .

  2. Step 2

Download the necessary software. Some sites require flash players or other programs in order to run their online roulette games and Mac users will probably have to download these before they can play.

  3. Step 3

Visit a no-download online casino to avoid problems associated with downloading programs. Remember that not all sites that claim to be download-free actually are.

  4. Step 4

Understand the mathematics behind roulette before you play. There are exactly thirty-seven slots on a single zero roulette table, therefore each number has a one in thirty-seven chance of coming up on each spin. Each spin is an independent trial. That means the number that came up before has no impact on the number that comes up next. There is an exactly even chance of each number coming up every time.

  5. Step 5

Place your bet. Each table/program has a minimum and maximum bet allowed.

  6. Step 6

Play the odds. About half the numbers on a roulette wheel are red, the other half are black. There is also a single green zero on a roulette wheel, thus dropping the likelihood of a red or black to just below 50/50. You may also bet on low (numbers 1 to 18) or high (numbers 19 to 36).

  7. Step 7

Bet on low/high or black/red and your odds are about even, but the payout will be smaller. The larger the group of numbers you bet on, the smaller the payout because you have better odds. The more outside the odds are, the higher the payout will be. The highest payout comes when you bet on the single winning number. Your pay out will be 35 to 1.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't play American roulette. European, or single zero roulette, has better odds because there is only a single green "0," while an American wheel has a green "0" as well as a green "00."
