Things You'll Need

  • Lemons
  • Thin cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Small bowl
  • Freezer

Instructions

    • 1
      Cut off tips.

      Cut off both ends of the lemon. Cut lemon in half, lengthwise.

      Slice.

      Cut halves into slices of desired width.

      Spread.

      Spread slices on cutting board.

      Freeze.

      Place cutting board with lemon slices in freezer.

    • 5
      Collect in bowl.

      After about four hours (or until slices are frozen solid), remove cutting board from freezer. Collect frozen slices in a bowl and return bowl to freezer. Lemon slices are now ready for your next ice cold drink.

    Now why didn't I think of this! I freeze everything else this way I don't know why it didn't occur to me to do the same with lemons and limes!

    After freezing, I would put the slices in a ziplock freezer bag so they wouldn't dry out.
