How to Shave when traveling

You want to travel light and bring the minimum. How can you shave in a strange hotel halfway around the world? Easy... this is how.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Razor
• hot water
• washcloth
• bar of soap

1. Soak the washcloth in as hot a water as you can take and apply it to your whiskers for 5 to 10 seconds. Wrap the small bar of hotel soap in the washcloth and soak it again in hot water for 10 seconds, then rub it on your face/whiskers. A thin film of soap will cover your whiskers.
2. Shave.
3. Wipe you face clean of any soapy residue. Done!

Tips & Warnings

• You'll probably feel like you got a better shave than you ever did with a can of lather, gel, or any other shaving cream including a brush and soap like I use at home.
• Don't apply hot water any hotter than you can comfortably tolerate.
