How to Store Celery in the Refrigerator

Celery provides a healthy, crispy snack option that is also a welcome addition to vegetable soup recipes and sauces. Raw celery is high in vitamin C, which is helpful for the immune system, and also contains cholesterol-fighting phthalides and coumarins that may help prevent cancer. When stored correctly in your refrigerator, celery remains viable for up to 2 months. Soft spots on the stalk will let you know when it is starting to go bad.
