Offer daily tips about time management. These tips should be 10-minute mini-lessons covering one skill. Some examples of time management skills are: setting aside study time, setting goals for assignments, using agendas to make sure work is completed on time, making a list of things that need to be completed and keeping a balance between school and other activities.

Post your time management skills or tips on the walls around the classroom so the students can see them every day.

    • 3

Teach a new time management skill during the week and review it on Friday. Continue to add new skills every week. If you complete the skills your students need, you can review previous skills to find out if the students are incorporating them into their daily routines.

    • 4

Set aside a study time to review with each student individually. This will help determine if they are confused about any topics you have discussed.
