2. Schedule enough time each day around other activities to sort the dirty laundry, load the washing machine, transfer clothes to the dryer, fold the clothes and put them away. Most of these can be done in 5 minutes or less.
3. Be consistent and focus on completing one entire load of laundry each day until you get it where it belongs so it's ready to be used.
4. Enlist the help of others in the household to assist with laundry maintenance. Have each person sort their own dirty laundry into appropriate piles and put their clean laundry away.
5. Purge clothing that is worn, torn, out-dated or outgrown to keep clothing clutter at bay so you can focus on the actual laundry that is being utilized.
