Things You'll Need:
- Easter basket
- Candy
- Carrots
- Small treats
- Easter eggs

Step 1
Fill several plastic Easter eggs with candy, treats, nutritious snacks, small toys or coins the day before Easter.

Assemble an Easter basket for each child filled with a chocolate bunny, extra Easter eggs, some small toys, Easter grass and topped with a big bow.

Step 3
Choose a time to prepare the backyard when the children are not around. Prepare the area while they are still sleeping or distract them with a story or a big breakfast, if they are awake.

Step 4
Hide the baskets in the search area behind a chair, under a bench or behind a tree but where it can easily be found since they need to find it first, in order to collect the eggs.

Step 5
Hide the eggs in a variety of places. Make some hard to find and others easy to see.

Step 6
Place a few pieces of chewed up carrots near the entrance of the search area so the kids can see the Easter Bunny has been there.

Step 7
Announce to the children that you just saw the Easter Bunny hop away. Ask them to come out and look.

Step 8
Leave the gate or door open so you can point out where you just saw the Easter Bunny.
