• Images for the box
• Paintbrushes or decoupage sponges
• Silk
• Tarot cards
• Decoupage craft glue
• Craft paint
• A wooden box that fits your tarot cards

1. Begin by looking at your cards. Relax fully and notice what images leap out at you and what you are inspired to think of. Write down your ideas on a piece of notebook paper.
2. Take your inspired ideas and search for symbols in classic and modern paintings, popular magazines and anywhere else that suits your fancy. You can even use tarot cards themselves to decorate your tarot box.
3. Paint your box a rich color that suits your personality and a color that resonates with your energy. You may find inspiration with colors that match auras. Green equals vitality, red equals passion or energy, blue equals serenity and orange equals creativity, for example.
4. Line the box with paper or velvet. Use fabric glue if working with fabric.
