How to Create an Account at iStockphoto

If you have a passion for stock photography, vector illustrations and flash files but don't know where to find them all in one place, then create an iStockphoto account. This is the largest design community in the world with no membership fees, subscription fees or hidden costs. You can easily join iStockphoto by following these easy steps and you'll be able to browse the world's largest inventory of stock images.

Things You'll Need:

• Internet access
• Valid email address

1. Click "Sign Up" from the iStockphoto homepage and carefully read the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Agreement.

2. Choose a unique member name as your public identity within the iStockphoto community. Click on the little "Check" button to see if that member name is available.

3. Repeat Step 2 until you see a green "Congratulations" note and checkmark that your chosen member name is available.

4. Enter a valid email address. Check the "Agreement" button if you agree to the iStockphoto Terms and Conditions. Click the "Sign Up" button.

5. Check your email. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address along with a randomly generated login password.

6. Return to the iStockphoto homepage and log in using the member name and password from the confirmation email.

7. Change your password to something that's easier to remember. Click on “Account Details” and under Tools and select "Change My Password."

Tips & Warnings

• Passwords containing both letters and numbers provide a higher level of login security.
• Passwords are case sensitive.
• Never use personal information such as phone numbers or address references for member names or passwords.
