How to Tour Italy by Motorcycle

  1. Step 1

    Contact the Edelweiss Bike Travel touring company. When calling from the US, you can use the toll-free U.S. number of (800) 507-4459. Or you can visit their Web site.

  2. Step 2

    Pick the dates for your tour that fit best into your schedule. Tours of Italy run June through October.

  3. Step 3

    Choose the option for the number of riders that will be going on the tour.

  4. Step 4

    Select a first choice and a second choice for the motorcycle that you would prefer riding. There are a few to choose from.

  5. Step 5

    Enter the rider information such as name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, number of years you've ridden a motorcycle, driver's license number and passport number on their Web site. You can also select the options for hotel rooms and meals. If you have called the toll-free number, you can give this information to the customer service representative on the phone.

  6. Step 6

    Place a deposit for each rider by credit card.

  7. Step 7

    Confirm the dates for the trip.

  8. Step 8

    Make arrangements to get to Italy. Your flight costs are not part of the tour package.
