Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Contact the Edelweiss Bike Travel touring company. They are a multi-continent tour agency. When calling from the U.S., you can use the toll-free number of (800) 507-4459. Or you can visit their Web site.

  2. Step 2

Pick the dates for your tour that fit best into your schedule. New Zealand tours run January through March and October through November.

  3. Step 3

Choose the option for the number of riders in your party.

  4. Step 4

Select a first choice and a second choice for the motorcycle that you would prefer to ride. There are a few to choose from.

  5. Step 5

Enter the rider information such as name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, number of years you've ridden a motorcycle, driver's license number and passport number on their Web site. You can also select the options for hotel rooms and meals. If you have called the toll-free number, you can give this information to the customer service representative on the phone.

  6. Step 6

Place a deposit for each rider by credit card.

  7. Step 7

Travel to New Zealand. You will either begin your tour in Auckland and finish up in Christchurch or begin in Christchurch and finish in Auckland. Make your flight arrangements accordingly. Your flight costs are not part of the tour package.
