Start early in the day, as Enchanted Rock is popular and the park closes to new visitors when it reaches capacity.

Drive north from Fredericksburg on RM 965 about 17 miles. The park entrance will be on the left.

Continue past headquarters and across the creek, turning right at the fork and drive into the parking lots.

Take Parker Road east for about 9 miles to FM 1378. Go left on FM 1378 for 2.5 miles to FM 3286.

Follow the summit trail up the main rock.

Follow the loop trail around the park after doing the summit trail.
Explore the rocks freely with off-trail excursions.
In summer, limit hikes to cooler morning times.
Camping is allowed by permit only.
