The region of Tuscany in Italy is a breathtaking vacation spot. The rolling vineyards, corner markets and medieval castles are beautiful in the spring. Make sure that your trip to Tuscany is perfect by packing appropriately. Packing for Tuscany in the springtime is easy if you follow the correct procedures.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Transformer
  • Battery chargers
  • Camera
  • Cell phone
  • Plug adaptors
  • Allergy medicine
  • Comfortable shoes
  1. Step 1

Pack layers of clothing. The mornings and evenings are cool, and the afternoons can be very warm. Since you will probably be out exploring all day, it is important that you wear clothes that can be shed and put back on later.

  2. Step 2

Take mostly casual outfits. Tuscany is a very laid back area of Italy. You'll find most Italians in this region dressed in comfortable clothing.

  3. Step 3

Splurge on one nice outfit to wear to a high-end restaurant. This outfit can be worn more than once if necessary.

  4. Step 4

Take comfortable walking shoes. While in Tuscany, you will do a lot of walking while touring wineries, shopping and exploring the countryside.

  5. Step 5

Purchase allergy medicine to take on you trip. Allergies in Tuscany can be extreme, and you don't want this to ruin your vacation.

  6. Step 6

Prepare for electrical differences. Pack "C" and "F" plug adaptors, along with a transformer that supports 230 volts. Any time you need to plug an appliance in the wall, first plug in the plug adaptor. Plug the transformer into the plug adaptor, and then plug your appliance into the transformer.

  7. Step 7

Do not forget your camera, cell phone and battery chargers.
