Instructions

    • 1

Draw a medium-sized circle for the head on a piece of paper with a pencil. Add squiggle lines starting at the head and moving outward to create the mane.

    • 2

Sketch two almond-shaped eyes in the upper half of the head. Draw a circle inside each of the almond shapes and shade it in for the pupils.

    • 3

Make a small, triangle nose underneath the eyes. Draw a line starting at the bottom tip of the nose and curving outward on both sides for the mouth. Add whiskers as three slightly curved lines close to each side of the lion's mouth.

    • 4

Draw two slightly rounded triangles for ears on top of the head.

    • 5

Pencil a horizontal, oval-shaped circle under the head to create the body. Draw two sets of oval paws below either end of the body. Draw lines to connect all four paws to the body.

    • 6

Add a thin, S-shaped tail sticking into the air at the end of the body. Draw multiple lines at the tip of the tail to give it a bushy look.
