Things You'll Need:
- Baby biker clothes
- Car or truck
- Toys
- Camera
- Motorcycle
-
Step 1
Make sure the rally you want to attend allows children.
-
Step 2
Plan to have an extra person follow you in a regular vehicle to transport your baby safely, if you are not planning to tow the motorcycle.
-
Step 3
Outfit your baby in biker clothes. A black denim or leather jacket, a pair of Harley Davidson shoes, a do-rag, a biker T-shirt or a logo outfit are all great ideas. People love to see babies dressed up in ensembles.
-
Step 4
Pack enough food and snacks to feed and occupy your baby throughout the rally, especially if you are staying for more than one day.
-
Step 5
Bring quick clean-up items, like fabric wipes, detergent pens, or any other kind of spot cleaner for spills and spit-up.
-
Step 6
Have toys available in the car for times when the baby is strapped in during the rally. There will be many times when you will need the car to transport your baby to different events during the motorcycle rally.
-
Step 7
Walk around to motorcycle vendors with your baby on your hip or in a backpack, sling or stroller. Trade off to keep your baby from getting frustrated or bored, as there will probably be many things you'll want to see.
-
Step 8
Allow yourself time to rest during the day when baby needs a nap or needs to play somewhere quiet, such as on the grass or in the hotel room or tent. With so much going on, your baby may need some special one-on-one time with mommy or daddy.
-
Step 9
Socialize with new people if your baby enjoys that, or avoid too many people if that causes crying or anxiety.
-
Step 10
Take pictures constantly for your scrapbooks and photo albums, and for your baby's book. This is a special and unique memory that you will want to look back on for years to come.

on 8/8/2007 I've found the HOG rallies are always family-friendly, and everyone loves cooing and talking to my baby.
