How to Clean Paintball Clothes

Cleaning clothes after a day of paintball is an absolute necessity. The amount of sweat, grime and paint generated from one day of paintball is enough to send most moms over the edge. Cleaning your child's paintball clothes is actually very simple and can be done by anyone.

Things You'll Need

• Washing machine
• Pre-wash treatment

Instructions

1. Separate the colors from the whites like you would with any laundry.

2. Spray the brunt of the mud and paint off of the clothes with a hose, or let it the mud dry and shake it off.

3. Apply a basic pre-wash treatment to all of the mud and paintball marks.

4. Run the presoak cycle on your washer to help remove the mud.

5. Read the label on each piece of clothing for drying instructions.

Tips & Warnings

• Paintball marks are surprisingly easy to remove so make sure you get them totally out before drying or they are in there for good.

• Mixing dark clothing with lighter clothes can lead to discoloration.

• Too much mud can clog your washing machine. Remove as much mud as possible before washing.
