How to Make a Photo Gift CD Using Picasa

Photos on compact discs can be wonderful gifts for any occasion. Using Picasa's gift CD function, you can burn an entire slideshow with pictures and music to CD. Picasa makes it easy to create professional-looking CDs that family and friends will enjoy.

Things You’ll Need:

• Picasa
• Computer
• CD burner
• Pictures

1. Import your photos to Picasa. Picasa will scan your computer and bring the pictures you have saved into its program. You can also import photos directly from your camera into Picasa by connecting your camera or card reader to the computer. Click the "Import" button and select the device you want to extract the pictures from.
2. Hold down the "Shift" key and select the pictures you would like to be on the gift CD.
3. Choose the "Gift CD" option at the top of your screen.
4. Pick the image size and name of the CD. Click the "Add Picasa" button.
5. Burn your CD by clicking the "Burn" button on the right-hand side of the page. Follow the directions on the screen to complete the process.
