How to Plan a Trip to the Cincinnati Zoo

The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden has been rated the number one attraction in Cincinnati and one of the top 5 zoos in the country. A well-planned visit will help you enjoy the zoo and all it has to offer.

Instructions

    • 1

Park in the zoo lot and pay a nominal fee.

    • 2

Purchase tickets at the ticket booth and make sure to pick up a map. If you need a stroller or wheelchair, they can be rented at the entrance for a small fee.

    • 3

Check the map for show times and work out the most beneficial route. Shows can be crowded on weekends, so arrive early to get a good seat.

Stop by the Rino Cafe for a bite to eat. This food court has enough choices to please your entire family. If you prefer a something lighter, you will also find vending carts and other small food stands throughout the zoo for snacks and drinks.

    • 5

Rest your feet while you enjoy the Train, Conservation Carousel or the Safari Shuttle. You can purchase an all day ride bracelet for unlimited rides throughout the day.

    • 6

Buy a souvenir or two from the Family Zoo Shop or Cincinnati Zoo Shop.
