Comic books are fun for everyone. There are also plenty of fantastic comic books out there just waiting to be discovered by you. You can buy comic books in stores, of course, but you can also subscribe to them. Subscribing to comic books is a sure-fire way to ensure you always get your favorites on time, every month, delivered straight to your door. It takes almost no time at all to learn how to subscribe to comic books.

Subscribe to Your Favorite Comic Books

  1. Step 1

Open your favorite comic book. Most comic books come complete with subscription information. Copy the appropriate information down on paper and then mail it to the address provided, complete with a check or money order.

  2. Step 2

Go straight to the source. All of the big comic book publishers have their own websites where you can subscribe to their individual comics. Check out one of the biggest ones, Marvel Comics, to get started (see Resources below).

  3. Step 3

Subscribe to comic books like Superman and Batman at DC Comics online (see Resources below).

  4. Step 4

Watch your mail. Occasionally, comic book subscription offers are sent to you in the mail, especially if you have subscribed to comics in the past or ordered products advertised in comic books. If you get such an offer in the mail, call the number or send in the card that came with the offer.

  5. Step 5

Try a subscription service. Subscription services can often secure you significant discounts on comic books. Mail Me My Comics is one such service you can try (see Resources below).

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you let your comic book publisher know if you move. While those handy change of address cards you get at the post office will ensure most of your mail is forwarded to you, comic books fall under the classification of 'media.' Media is not forwarded by the post office. To keep getting your comic books, you will need to call the publisher's subscription department (you can find the number on the first few pages of most comic books).
