How to Make Turbochargers for Nitro Powered RC Cars

While nitro powered radio-controlled (RC) cars already boast an impressive acceleration capacity, it is possible to outfit them with turbochargers to enhance their acceleration capabilities as well as their top speed. Though some RC car manufacturers offer turbochargers and other speed enhancers as accessories for certain car models, it is considerably less expensive to make your own.

    you cant successfully turbo or supercharge a two stroke engine, as the inlet and exhaust port is open at the same time, all you will end up doing is blowing the fuel directly out of the exhaust port, therefore producing less power, you can only put blowers on 4-stroke RC engines.

    honestly that is whooey, to make a real turbo for scale rc is a lil costly but can produce way more power and fun than a supercharger... all you have to do is buy a cartridge turbo ( ar 42, t3, du 67, ) any kind will work, take it to your local machine shop that has a cnc or jig machine and ask them to scale it down.... i live in houston tx and i used gem machine it cost approx 300 dollars but now i cant control my rc from monster power slides
