Things You'll Need:
- Paper and pencil to jot down your numbers
- Books or online references
-
Step 1
Recall the numeric day of the month in which you were born. If it is a single digit, that is your primary number. January 1 would be primary number 1.
-
Step 2
Reduce a two-digit number by separating the digits and adding them together. January 23 would be 2+3=5. Five would be your primary number.
-
Step 3
Use your primary number in casual ways, such as personal code or lottery ticket numbers. Or consult a respected reference to find more purposeful ways to apply your number.
-
Step 1
Recall your full numeric birth month, day and year. October 12, 1992 would be 10, 12 and 1992.
-
Step 2
Reduce multiple digits as above. Ten, 12 and 1992 would be: 1+0=1, 1+2=3, 1+9+9+2=21 and 2+1=3.
-
Step 3
Add the reduced digits together. One+3+3 (originally October 12, 1992) would determine your secondary number, or life path number: 7.
-
Step 4
Use your secondary number as above, or find out how to equate your numbers with their corresponding color, gem, flower, food and other key variables in numerology with a reference book (see Resources below).
