Slander occurs when a defamatory statement is verbally made regarding a person (to at least a third person) and causes injury to that person's reputation. If you believe that you have been a victim of slander, you may find that at some point you will want to file a case against the person who defamed you. At that point, you will want to gather all pertinent evidence in support of your case in a systematic manner so that you can present yourself in the best light.
