Things You'll Need:
- a theme for the basket
- small items that relate to the theme
- container to place items in
- a linging for the basket
- (optional) a card
-
Step 1
Pick a theme that the receiver who like. (For example, my uncle loves comic books)
-
Step 2
Purchase small items that reflect your theme. (In my case I buy small encylopedias and cards and maybe DVD's related to the avengers.)
-
Step 3
Purchase a sturdy basket to place all of your items in. (I like plastic containers, and so does my uncle. So I use whatever container he needs at the present time.)
-
Step 4
Line your container to make it look nice (At this time, I can't stand easter grass. So I just don't line mine at all)
-
Step 5
Place items into the container. Arrange in a manner that provides easy access to all items you purcahsed.
-
Step 6
(optional) Write out your card and place it in your basket to where it is either the first or last thing the receiver sees.
-
Step 7
Give the basket to the receiver.

on 6/25/2007 Hmm... how come you're not a fan of easter grass?
I'm not sure if this would work, but maybe you could put cotton, or even better, pillow stuffing (that you can usually purchase at a fabric or arts and crafts store)to line the basket.
