With all the opportunities and recruiters talking to you, how can you know if joining the military is right for you? Then how do you know which service to join? For an interactive presentation goto www.NewYorkNationalGuardRecruiter.com or call Sgt Davis with questions at 518-225-1898

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • internet
  • Be 17-35 or 17-40 for Navy
  • Be in good health
  • Time to research

Step1
Determine if you are basiclly qualified by answering these questions.
1.) Are you 17-35 or 17-40 for Navy? Yes is Good, No is Disqualified
2.) Are you a drug user, or have felony convictions? No is Good here
3.) Do you have pending legal issues in any court? No is good here
4.) Are you seriously interested in joining if you qualify? Yes is good here
Step2
Find the phone numbers or locations of every military recruiter for every branch of service in your area. Call them all and make appointments to visit them and find out what they have to offer. Write down all the details for every brach. Remember DO NOT commit to doing any processing or paperwork with any of them yet, simply gather info and let them know thats what your doing.
Step3
Determine based on your gathered info what branch of service you'd like to join and call that recruiter back to set up a time to start the process. IE: test, physical and enlist.

It's really that simple.
