So it's Thanksgiving morning and you forgot to defrost the TURKEY!! Here is a super quick method to get your turkey defrosted in just a couple of quick steps.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Place Turkey on bottom rack of Dishwasher (Do NOT add soap)

  2. Step 2

Run Dishwasher through one cycle (this works great as turkey is constantly being sprayed with HOT water at all angles)

  3. Step 3

If turkey is still not thawed after one cycle you may have to run through another cycle... it usually takes no more than 2 cycles though.

on 2/8/2009 I think it's a pretty good idea, i'm no food safety expert, but the constant hot water in a dishwasher is too hot for bacteria growth.

on 10/30/2007 Ok, what i mean is, i took a food safety class and learned that you should never thaw mean in hot or warm water due to bacteria growth.
