Playing Solitaire on a cell phone is a great way to play one of the most popular games around anytime you want. Make time pass quickly while standing in line, waiting for a movie to start or just to enjoy a few minutes playing Solitaire.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Cell phone capable of having programs added to it
  • Credit card to purchase the game(s) of your choice

Choose Your Preferred Solitaire Game

Step1
Look through your cell phone information to determine where you can get games from. Some cell phone providers limit the games you can use on their phones.
Step2
Decide how much money you want to spend on the Solitaire game you will play. Games range in price from inexpensive to expensive.
Step3
Start with a trial version of the Solitaire game if possible to see if you like the game before you pay for it. You will also find out how well the game works on your cell phone.
Step4
Check to see if the game will require purchasing a monthly subscription, which could become quite costly.
Step5
Install the Solitaire game of your choice on your cell phone.

Spend Time Playing Solitaire on Your Cell Phone

Step1
Scroll through the cell phone options under the menu of your phone. Select the Solitaire game under the games section of the menu.
Step2
Select the option to start a new game.
Step3
Use directional buttons on your phone to select various cards to play or other buttons as directed by the game.
Step4
Move cards to the foundations (stack to be made of cards in ascending order from Ace to King in each suit).
Step5
Remember cards must appear in columns in descending order with alternating colors. For example, a red 9 goes to a black 10.
Step6
Win the game by moving all of the cards in play to the 4 foundations.

Tips & Warnings

  • Better quality games cost a little more but will give you clearer graphics and smoother play.
  • You can purchase a number of different types of Solitaire like Klondike, Pyramid, Spider, FreeCell and more.
  • Always try to move the Aces to the foundations as quickly as possible.
  • Work on columns with fewer exposed cards first to give yourself more playable options.
  • Playing Solitaire will run your cell phone battery down faster than not playing a game. Be prepared to charge the battery more often.
