Things You'll Need:
- Treats
-
Step 1
Give your dog the command "Stay" (Refer to my eHow article on how to teach your dog the "Stay" Command, see Resources below).
-
Step 2
Wait 30 to 60 seconds. If your dog attempts to move, place your dog back in the same position.
-
Step 3
After the 30 to 60 seconds, get your dog's attention and give the release word "Break." Say the release word in a happy, positive tone of voice.
-
Step 4
Reward your dog for doing the "Stay" command with treats and praise.

SAY LEAVE AGAIN GIVE HIM A TREAT SAY GOOD BOY REPEAT. MAKE SHURE THE TREAT IS A BETTER REWARD THAN THE BALL OR THE OBJECT YOU WANT THE DOG TO RELEASE.AFTER A SHORT TIME WHEN YOU SAY LEAVE THE DOG WILL DROP THE OBJECT WAITING FOR THE TREAT.TELL HIM GOOD BOY.ALL THE BEST STEVE.EMAIL PUG04@HOTMAIL.CO.UK
