Things You'll Need:
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1/2 medium onion chopped
- 1/2 green pepper diced
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt divided
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 6 raw potatoes shredded
- 3 eggs beaten
- 1/3 cup of milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

Step 1
In a 12 inch skillet brown the ground beef with onions and green pepper, 1/2 tsp. of salt, and pepper.

Remove beef mixture from skillet, drain skillet and melt butter.

Spread potatoes over butter and sprinkle with remaining salt.

Top with beef mixture.

Step 5
Combine eggs and milk and pour over all.

Step 6
Cook covered on medium heat until potatoes are tender, approximately 30 minutes.

Step 7
Top with cheese cover and heat until cheese is melted, approximately 5 minutes.

Step 8
Cut into wedges or squares and serve. Yeild 4 to 6 servings.
