2. Buy a hot air balloon ride to experience the sensation and see if it appeals to you.

3. Find a school that teaches hot air balloon piloting.

4. While learning to pilot a balloon, consider crewing for a team. Sometimes, crewing proves to be a more enjoyable part of the experience than piloting.
