      Locate the Adventure Motorcycle Tours touring company, also know as AdMo-Tours at (760) 249-1105 or on their Web site (see Resources, below). Select the tour for Death Valley.

      Pick the dates for your tour. They generally run tours from October through May on a first come, first serve basis.

      Book your tour. A custom adventure tour is possible. You can also add a day or more to any tour.

      Rent a dual sport bike, if necessary. You can bring your own bike, but it must be a dual sport bike or a street legal dirt bike.

      Confirm the dates for the trip.

      Add more accommodations, if desired.

      Ask about travel arrangements to and from Nevada. The tour actually begins 35 miles outside of Las Vegas and travels through Death Valley.

  • Bringing your own dirt bike will lower your costs.
