1. Locate the Internet provider's Web site address.

2. Find the "buy now" or "order online" key and click on it.

3. Submit your address to verify that service is available in your area.

4. Browse through their packages.

5. Find and click on the package that fits your needs, or design your own if possible.

6. Enter the personal information requested, including name, phone number and current e-mail address.

7. Read through and agree to the terms and conditions page.

8. Enter any other information requested.

9. Confirm that your personal information and new Internet package are correct.

10. Set up an installation time and date for a DSL or cable connection. Some Internet service providers will send the products to you if you feel comfortable enough to set it up yourself.

11. Print out a summary of your order for your records. A representative will contact you for further information if needed.
