Keep all documentation you receive regarding the car. This includes the bill of sale, the letter(s) you send, and responses you receive as well as any paperwork related to fixing the car.

Consider hiring a Lemon Law attorney to help you with the process.

Contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles or Attorney General's office to locate the agency that provides your state's arbitration claim form.

Fill out the arbitration claim form, and make sure the form clearly states the restitution you are seeking.

Submit the form as directed. If you get a hearing, you will be notified by mail.
