How to Remove Tree Resin From Clothing

Depending on the tree resin, you might have to try different solvents to remove it from your cloths

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• alcohol
• acetone
• oxy bleach

1. If the resin is caked on, freeze the cloth and break the resin off
2. Start with washing the area with resin with Alcohol
3. If Alcohol doesn't remove the resin, Try acetone (available from hardware stores)
4. Then, use oxy clean to oxidize the remaining stain and wash in cold water. (do not dry in dryer if you smell any of the solvent you used)

• Alcohol & Acetone are extremely flamable. HANDLE WITH CARE!
