How to Propose at an Amusement Park

Do you and your girlfriend love spending time getting your adrenaline rushing on thrill rides? Are you looking for an interesting way to propose? Why not propose at an amusement park? Here is a suggestion of how to go about doing just that.

1. Think about your favorite rides at the park. Which types do the two of you enjoy the most?
2. Determine what type of ride you plan to propose on will in some way affect how you deliver your proposal. Once you've chosen the ride that you'll propose on, figure out the right time to deliver your proposal.
3. Determine how long you will have to ask her to marry you. For example, if you are planning to propose on a roller coaster, how long does it take to go up the first hill?
   
4. Once you know how long you will have to propose, figure out what words you will use.
5. Practice your proposal. You're bound to be nervous; practicing will ensure that you say what you want to say.
   
6. Make a date for the amusement park. If you normally go mid-week to avoid the crowds, plan a mid-week trip; try to keep it all about just going to the park to have a great time.
7. Propose when the moment is right.

Tips & Warnings

• Things don't always go exactly the way that you plan them - if something goes wrong, like the ride is closed the day that you go, take it in stride and enjoy yourself. The most important thing is to make sure that you're both comfortable and having a good time. Does the theme park have a mascot? If so, you may be able to talk with park management to have the mascot involved in your proposal.
• If you've always thought that proposals are a down on one knee and slip the ring on her finger sort of event, proposing at an amusement park might not be for you.
